The

1950 thunderbird

The Ford Thunderbird is a two-seat convertible that was manufactured by Ford from 1955 to 1957. It was the first two-seat Ford since 1938. It was created in response to the Chevrolet Corvette's appearance at the 1953 Motorama exhibition at the New York Auto Show. In turn, the Corvette was created in response to American interest in European sports cars.
